The way images appear right in front of my eyes, along with the chemical process of cyanotype, feels very analog and magical.

Double Slit Experiment
cyaontype on birch plywood, aluminum lump

2021
This is an experimental practice work where various light sources, such as fluorescent lights, projectors, and lasers, were exposed to film. The developed photographic plates were then enlarged and printed, and the film was used to apply the blueprint technique on different types of wood and materials.
Karma Chair
cyaontype, silkscreen print, birch plywood
536 x 450 x 740 (mm)
2021
This work was the first attempt to apply photographic and printmaking techniques such as cyanotype and silk screening to the surface of wood.
It reflects the randomness of thought, inspired by a car accident and the X-ray film images I observed while being examined in an old hospital. The work became a collage of forms and images that concentrated on the serendipity of the moment and my personal interests. The structure seen in the body and the chair design by Gerrit Rietveld stored on my phone intersected, creating the final result.
